"Hands on Stage" Puppetry Competition for Secondary Schools
'Hands on Stage' is a puppetry competition open to secondary school students, up to a maximum of 24 teams. Students will work in teams of four to five to write a script and perform a puppet show of five to seven minutes.
The aims of the 'Hands on Stage' Puppetry Competition are to give students an opportunity to:
- use English in a creative and motivating way;
- experiment with script writing; and
- learn about puppet design, puppetry techniques and how to stage a puppet show.
