Learning Hub Event Series for Primary English Teachers: Empowering Educators

Join us for an engaging series of events designed specifically for primary English teachers looking to enhance their teaching strategies for catering for learner diversity and foster collaboration. This series includes a comprehensive webinar, actionable planning sessions, and interactive online and face-to-face gatherings aimed at sharing innovative ideas and practices.

What to Expect

  1. Idea Lab: Kick off the series with an informative idea lab. Participants will explore the latest trends, resources and activities in catering for learner diversity in English language teaching, that can be integrated into the classroom. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect and collaborate with other English Language teachers. They will walk away with a personalised action plan. These plans will focus on implementing new strategies learned during the idea lab, tailored to each teacher’s unique classroom environment and student needs. Ongoing discussion and collaboration will happen through an online platform and at school with Advisory Teachers.
  2. Webinar: Following the idea lab and action plan development, teachers will have the opportunity to trial their action plans. Webinars will be offered to provide further opportunities for discussion and development with a specific focus.
  3. EDB Net Section CPD and PDNETWork Workshops: Engage in hands-on workshops where participants can dive deeper into specific teaching strategies. Catering for learner diversity and students with SEN topics are available through the TCS.
  4. Cluster Sharing Gathering: Conclude the series with informal gatherings that promote networking and idea sharing among teachers. These sessions will allow educators to discuss challenges, share successes, and collaborate on projects, fostering a sense of community.
